Depeche Mode – 1991

This year there was no new music from Depeche Mode. However, two series of collectors limited edition CD box sets were released. First, exclusively for the Japanese market, came X¹ and X², featuring eight discs and 79 tracks. European and North American releases of the 1, 2, and 3 singles boxes followed, with a total of 18 discs and 82 tracks. Members in the band were Andrew Fletcher, David Gahan, Martin Gore, and Alan Wilder.
