Recorded at Blackwing Studios in London and originally released on 5 October 1981, Speak & Spell is the first studio album by Depeche Mode. It’s also their only LP with Vince Clarke in the band. The original UK release features the singles New Life and Just Can’t Get Enough. Most other editions also include the Depeche Mode’s debut single, Dreaming Of Me. Over the years, Speak & Spell has been remastered and reissued several times.
