Originally released on 22 March 1993, Songs Of Faith And Devotion is the eighth studio album by Depeche Mode and the last with Alan Wilder as a member of the band. The album was recorded and mixed in a rented villa in Madrid, at the studio Chateau Du Pape in Hamburg, and at Olympic Studios in London. It features the singles I Feel You, Walking In My Shoes, Condemnation, and In Your Room. One Caress was released as an additional single in the US only. Songs Of Faith And Devotion was the first Depeche Mode album to initially not see a vinyl release in North America. Over the years, it has been remastered and reissued several times.
