Released on August 23, 1988, Strangelove ’88 is the 15th US single by Depeche Mdode. It’s a reissue and slight remake of the original Strangelove single from 1987, which Sire Records felt didn’t perform well enough on the American charts. Strangelove ’88 was released as a single only in North America and the Philippines.
