Originally released digitally on 11 August 2023, with a 12-inch vinyl following five months later, Speak To Me is the 59th “single” by Depeche Mode (and their 50th in the US). Like My Cosmos Is Mine, its status as an official single is debatable due to the lack of promotion and the absence of a music video. It’s a certainty that Speak To Me was recorded at Electric Ladyboy in Santa Barbara and Shangri-La in Malibu, with mixing completed at Studio Zona in London.
