Originally released in cinemas across 76 countries on 21 November 2019, Spirits In The Forest is a concert film, documentary, and the 15th home video by Depeche Mode. It was filmed during the band’s performances at the Waldbühne arena in Berlin on 23 and 25 July 2018, the final shows of the Global Spirit Tour. The film also tells the stories of six fans, interpreting Depeche Mode through their eyes. The physical release of the concert and documentary followed on 26 June 2020. Simultaneously, the standalone live album Live Spirits Soundtrack, featuring the two CDs from this release, was also made available.
