For a limited period in 2001 and 2002, the British newspapers Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror made available promotional CDs, some of which were part of their “exclusive enhanced sampler” series and could be obtained by vouchers collected from the papers. The Depeche Mode Exclusive Enhanced Sampler is one such disc, featuring all four singles from the 2001 studio album Exciter.
