Originally released in November 2006, The Best Of Volume 1 is the seventh compilation album by Depeche Mode. It features a selection of singles from their back catalogue and includes the previously unreleased Martyr. The compilation was available in both a CD-only version and a CD + DVD edition. In Europe, the DVD was also released as a standalone title, The Best Of Videos Volume 1. Over the years, The Best Of Volume 1 has been reissued multiple times.
